Happy 20 Year Anniversary to Me!

Happy 20 years in the industry to Me!  I started in August 2006 after I graduated from college with degrees in Literature and Psychology – it wasn’t my long term plan but as it turns out I am an excellent professional dominatrix, kink educator, dungeon proprietess and small business owner!  I’ve run THREE dungeons in Los Angeles – which no one else has ever done. I am grateful for the experiences Dungeon West, East and Stella Obscura have given Me and also grateful to be retired from owning dungeons. I’ve run BDSFemme – the only play party for cis and trans women in Los Angeles, co-hosted Deviant and Chroma – play parties for queers. I’ve been on countless podcasts, tv shows, movies, I have travelled ALL OVER THE WORLD, I’ve had a latex dress named after me from Jane Doe, I have saved several lives – LITERALLY, I’ve been invited to speak at colleges, I have learned how to do basically everything because of this business. This business has brought me the best of times and the worst of times.  I have dominated lesbian crushes, A list celebraties, and far too many men without hearing aids.

Every day I choose this business and this life because I love it so so much.  I FREAKIN LOVE WHAT I DO!!!  It’s not perfect but at least I don’t have to answer to a moron in an Hawaiian shirt – he answers to ME.  The parts that I don’t love are the parts I do not have control over: the censorship, the scammers/catfish, the people who have hurt me or my dungeons.  One day there will be a book.  

What’s next? Well, I have always wanted to do a podcast, I will likely lean more into writing so perhaps a substack is forth coming and finally . . .  I do not plan on being in Los Angeles forever.
